Benefit from our complimentary delivery and setup services.
Once our main office authorizes your purchase, we generally deliver within five to ten business days for barns sitting on a dealer's sales location. For build orders it is usually three to four weeks -- but in either case, unforeseen circumstances (like weather, ground conditions, or seasonal demand) might occasionally impact these timelines.
For distances less than 50 miles from the dealer's location, delivery and setup are complimentary. Beyond the 50-mile radius, a mileage fee is applicable based on current fuel rates.
To deliver and set up, your site must be accessible. Your dealer can share more information. If you're opting for rent-to-own, access to sites cannot be through properties not owned by the renter of the structure. We strongly advise against erecting barns directly under power lines as it is prohibited in many locations. If the barn is rent-to-own, we reserve the right to not place it under a power line.
If the site is not more than three feet out of level in any direction, no site prep is required. If the site is within one foot out of level in any direction, we provide wood leveling blocks free of cost. If the site is more than one foot out of level in any direction, customer-provided concrete blocks are required.
Concrete blocks will be installed free of charge to the point where the barn is level. Additional layers of concrete blocking above the point of level incur an extra charge of $150 per layer.
Clearing tree limbs, debris, fencing, or any other barriers that could obstruct the delivery of a barn prior to the delivery attempt is solely the customer's responsibility. Fees may apply for unsuccessful delivery attempts due to obstacles not being removed.
Neither Prairie Built Barns nor our affiliates are liable for damages to above-ground or underground structures that may result from a delivery or delivery attempt. The customer is solely responsible for assessing ground conditions and suitability before delivery. Fees may apply if a delivery cannot be completed.
Ensure your new structure complies with local regulations by understanding permits and licensing requirements.
The requirements vary from one location to another or from one state to another. Although many places do not require permits and licensing, others do. It is solely our customer's responsibility to get in touch with their local authorities, learn about the necessary permits and/or licenses, and obtain them.
Explore the flexibility of our Rent-To-Own Program, which makes ownership easy and affordable.
No, our rent-to-own program does not necessitate a credit history check. We will never request your credit score or credit history information.
A small security deposit is mandatory for all rent-to-own and C.O.D. sales. However, we currently have a No-Money-Down option for qualifying individuals (Refer to the "About Our No-Money-Down Program" section.)
Your first rental payment is due on the 10th of the first billing cycle following the delivery of your barn. You will not pay rent for your barn until it has been delivered to your site.
Yes, but we strongly encourage you to obtain express permission from the landowner first. Also, rent-to-own barns cannot be installed on a property that needs to be accessed through a neighbor's property.
Yes. Many Prairie Built Barns' rent-to-own customers prefer this method instead of renting the barn for the complete term of the contract.
You'll receive a monthly statement with the required mailing information. If you have more questions, please get in touch with Southern Lease Management Group.
Maximize your purchasing power with our 90-Day-Same-As-Cash Program.
If you've paid all your monthly rental payments on time and want to settle your rent-to-own contract within 90 days of the delivery of your barn, your payoff amount will equal the cash price you would have paid on the day of purchase, less the total of the rental payments you have made. The security deposit will also be refunded.
Learn about our convenient Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.) option for purchasing your barn or shed.
Yes, you can pay C.O.D. if you make a 10% deposit upfront, you or your representative is present at the time of delivery, and the remaining balance (including tax) is paid in full to the delivery person with a credit card (a 3% fee will be charged), check, cashier's check, or money order (all payable to CTH Rentals, Inc.).
Explore more payment options with our no-money-down program.
You must have an active checking account (not a new account) with a positive balance verified by the Automated Clearing House (some financial institutions and/or holding companies do not qualify.). You must authorize a monthly payment to be automatically drafted from this account on a set date of the 5th, 10th, or 15th of each month (the choice is yours.) Debit cards and credit cards are not accepted for the No-Money-Down program.
